Since Chuckey-Doak Middle School opened in 2004, I have served as the school’s librarian. We now have over 5000 items in the library for students and teachers to read, check out and enjoy.
CDMS library is used for regular classes, research and taking Accelerated Reading tests. The Accelerated Reading Program allows the students to take tests on books they have read.
I also coach the 8th grade Round Robin team and Reading Coach.

This summer, all students are encouraged to make the effort to read as much as possible. Turn off the television, and enter the world of a good book. Books are portable, so you can read anywhere: on the beach, in the car, safely tucked into the corner of a window seat as the soft summer rain pours down outside, in a sleeping bag under the stars in the backyard. When books and reading are a part of your vacation, you will be in for a magical summer experience! |
