Mr. Arrowood’s Home Page

Welcome to my home page.  I am Mr. Arrowood.  I teach Title I/Computer Lab classes at Chuckey-Doak Middle School.  This is my third year teaching and my second at CDMS. 

I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Milligan College.  I am certified to teach all academic areas in grades 4-8 and history 7-12. 

In the computer lab we utilize computer programs to teach other academic areas.  We use the A+ software which tests a student’s knowledge of mathematics and language arts.  The program then creates individualized lessons based on the test results which focus on any trouble areas that the student has.

We also use Orchard software that acts in the same manner, but this program is also used for benchmark testing in mathematics and language arts.

We also use Microsoft Office programs and the internet to cover SPI’s in all academic areas.
